It is being widely reported today that The Office will be getting a reboot and Greg Daniels, who created the American version, will be at the helm.
There aren’t really any other details yet, presumably thanks to the strike, but with the strike coming to an end, it looks like work has begun.
What are your thoughts? Should it be a continuation of the series (Season 10), should it a completely new cast/story? There’s no way Dunder Mifflin is still in business, right?
My idea is that the original cast is reunited to attend Creed’s funeral…only Creed isn’t dead. From there, I don’t know what the justification for the documentary crew to be there would be but I think it’s a funny launching point if they’re going with the original cast in some capacity.
